<sub> element specifies inline text which should be displayed as subscript.
Subscript text appears half a character below the normal line, and is rendered in a smaller font. Subscript text can be used for chemical formulas, like CO2.

Use the <sup> element to define superscripted text.
<sub> element is fully supported by all browsers:
