CSS font-weight Property

The font-weight property specifies the weight (or boldness) of the font.

The font weights available to you will depend on the font-family you are using. Some fonts are only available in normal and bold.

Value Description
normal Specifies normal font weight. Same as 400 (This is default)
bold Specifies bold font weight. Same as 700
lighter Selects a font weight that's lighter than the weight inherited from the parent
bolder Selects a font weight that's bolder than the weight inherited from the parent

The numeric values 100 to 900, where each number indicates a weight. 400 is the same as normal, and 700 is the same as bold
